About

At Kansas Solar Systems we design multi-purpose structures with integrated solar arrays to power homes, cars, and lives. Our solar systems, carports, pergolas, and shelters are guaranteed to provide decades of cheap, clean energy.

The timing has never been better to explore your options for going solar. Costs for components have dropped significantly. The PV (photovoltaic) panels look great and are more robust than ever, and the available warranties make construction of an array an investment with a predictable return. Through 2021, you can receive a 26% federal tax credit on the cost of your entire system and installation. There are many options and ways to save with Kansas Solar Systems.

On average, a solar array can

save you about $30,000 to $40,000

over the 25 years lifespan

Our structures are created by local designers with decades of experience, reviewed by architects and stamped by engineers. They are built to last long past the 25 year minimum lifespan of our solar arrays.

We believe in building multi-purpose structures that provide shade, parking, outlets for car chargers and lighting. We can also evaluate existing structures for solar to determine if they are suitable. If we use an existing structure, we will only do so if the structure is sound and likely to outlast the life of the array.

We are dedicated to bringing clean sun power and the huge savings that come along with it to our fellow Kansans. Let us show you how much you can save with a thorough analysis of your situation.

On average, a Kansas customer with just a 6kW solar array, will save about $30,000 to $40,000 over the minimum 25 year lifespan of the system. Customers with larger homes and farmers can save much more. On top of that, many systems have useful lifespans much longer that 25 years and can contribute to savings for decades beyond.

In addition to the savings, solar energy can provide peace of mind to those concerned with greenhouse gases. Solar power is considered nearly carbon neutral.

Building a solar system can also be a way to get reliable power where there is no grid. With the addition of a battery or generator back up, off grid energy security is within reach.

Share some details about your current energy consumption and talk about your interest in going solar. Have questions answered. Receive a ballpark estimate.

Step 3

Set up a home visit. We will use mapping tools, local weather data and on-site measurements to determine how and where a solar array could be placed on your property and how much energy it would produce.

Step 4

Review proposed structure with designer. Build it how you like it and for multipurpose use.

Step 5

We provide a quote for a solar system that meets your needs and wants, mounted to a new or existing structure.

Welcome to Kansas!
